april 10th - may 3rd 2017
debut of BIG FAN in art metropole window. i attempted to capture the impact western music had on me growing up, but also highlight the distance i felt from western culture.
i decided to work with the idea of a band t-shirt that winks at an album, without centering it. so, instead of wearing a band t-shirt, i wear a t-shirt of another girl wearing a t-shirt.
BIG FAN tshirts available here.
prints available here.

"NO MORE BATH BOMBS was a group exhibition that reimagined self-love as an act of resistance. whether you’re into long hugs, charcoal masks or not washing your hair for a week; we embrace rage, embody vulnerability and wade through sadness with claws out."
i showed three paintings about the unease of being out and about.

"Soft Moods aims to explore the concept of radical softness through a range of artistic practices and approaches. Through sculpture, installation, painting, drawing, animation, foraging and floral artistry, the artists in the exhibition – Lee D’Angelo & Bethany Rose Puttkemery, Destiny Grimm, Wil Brask, and cherry kutti – though diverse in practice, together generate a space of comfort and soothing."
i created a nook in the corner of the gallery that expanded line drawings into a physically interactive space.
